SfDataGrid doesn't honor GridCell style when the package Syncfusion.SfSpreadsheet.WPF is installed

Hello, I have several SfDataGrid on my application that are affected by an style defined on App.xaml as 

TargetType "syncfusion:GridCell" with a Setter that sets the BorderBrush property to Gainsboro (i
t sets the border of the cells to as lighter color).

When I install the NuGet package Syncfusion.SfSpreadsheet.WPF this style stops working, and the borders of the cells in the DataGrids show black.

Also, trying to assing a x:Key to the style and setting it explicitly on the DataGrid's CellStyle property causes an exception.
