The selected value is removed when the Escape key is pressed while the popup is open

Replication Procedure:

 

1. Run the sample
2.open the popup
3. Press esc key
3. You can see the issue
## Expected Behavior:
The selected value should be maintained properly when the Escape key is pressed while the popup is open
## Actual Behavior:
The selected value is removed when the Escape key is pressed while the popup is open
