Sftreegrid with CustomAdaptor and aggregates throws an exception

When I'm using treegrid with a customadaptor and aggregates I get an exception when running Datautil.PerformAggregation

This error is only there when i try to use Sum, not when i use count.
I see another exception when i try to use Count.

I've tried the except same code with the regular grid (using regular grid components) and that works.
