ComboBoxAdv throws a System.FormatException when is closed and you perform a text search on it

Hello, the WPF ComboBoxAdv is showing an extrange behaviour in this concrete situation:

1) The combo items list is closed

2) IsTextSearchEnabled is True

3) The combo has the focus and you type a letter of an item that contains the '&' character


Then the program crashes with a System.FormatException saying that "The input string ' PURCHASING ENERGY & EQUIPMENT' was not in a correct format."

This doesn't happen if the element found after typing in the combo doesn't have ampersands.

It doesn't happen also if the combo items list is open and then you type (the same item is correctly selected).

I have no way to catch the exception, since the combo_SelectionChanged handler is not reached in that case.


Please, address this ASAP. Many items in many combos arround the application have names including '&' characters, for example the brands combo ("B&G", and others)
