Support for alternative async methods for PDF operations

Processing large PDFs can be slow, in particular performing OCR or merging multiple documents. 

It would be useful is the Syncfusion PDF API provided alternative async methods to be used with the async/await pattern, in order to avoid blocking the main application while waiting.
