Aspect Ratio Not Maintained During Bottom Edge Resize of Cropped Images in Image Editor Component

The Image Editor component does not maintain the correct aspect ratio when users resize cropped images by dragging the bottom edge.

Expected Behavior:

  • When resizing a cropped image, the original aspect ratio should be preserved regardless of the resize direction, including when dragging the bottom edge.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open the Image Editor component.
  2. Crop an image.
  3. Set ratio as 16:9
  4. Resize the cropped image into bottom edge as per video attached.
