Unable to draw polyline connector from port

When the drawing object type is set to Orthogonal, Bezier, or Straight, hovering over a port correctly highlights it, and connectors can be drawn starting from the port. However, when the drawing object type is set to Polyline, the port does not get highlighted on hover, and the connector drawn is not connected to the port.
