Cannot get Aggregate to show for group columns

I followed the documentation by setting the groupFooterTemplate.
I have tried changing how the aggregate template is defined but it did not fix it.

I tried footer and caption aggregate but neither worked.

I compared with the working example shown in documentation, but I don't see what is wrong with my code.
