TabItemExt doesn't honor the Background property

The TabItemExt component of the TabControlExt has a property named Background that, when setted, changes nothing.

I need tho set the background color of the content of every specific tab content and don't find an easy option rather than the most intuitive way, that is setting the Background property of the TabItemExt.
