Connector Does Not Follow Shortest Path When Drawn from a Port

When drawing a new connector from a connector's port, the connector does not follow the shortest path, even when the connection direction is set to Auto. Instead of automatically determining the optimal route, the connector takes an incorrect path. As a result, the connector fails to dynamically adjust to the shortest route as intended.
