MapsPolygon BorderWidth changes when zooming in

I am trying to put a polygon on the Maps control, and find the zoom level affects the BorderWidth. When zooming in, the BorderWidth is changed and the border becomes thinner. Attached are 2 screenshots of the same polygon, at different zoom levels.
