EnableAdaptiveUI Disables Toolbar

I have noticed that setting the EnableAdaptiveUI property to true seems to partially disable a grid's toolbar. Column chooser and search functionality still work OK but any custom toolbar items are not displayed. This took a little while to track down, which is why I thought I'd bring it up.
