NullReferenceException when opening a window with an empty CheckListBox

If the view model class (data context) is created separately in code and assigns to the window before it is shown, the window with an empty CheckListbox control will crash with NullReferenceException. Please run the sample app for a demo. It doesn't crash in version 26.x.x.
