selecteditems is not assigning , and selection changed is not triggered at all

i am trying to retrive the selected classes using the combo selected item and it does not retrieve selected item ,
I also tried 

Event Handler 
SelectionChanged 
and it not triggert no matter what i do 
i dont think that is normal.
