When an annotation is selected programmatically, the default behavior scrolls the page to the top, even if the annotation is already within the visible viewport. This creates unnecessary scrolling and impacts the user experience. The proposed feature will prevent page scrolling when the annotation is already visible. Additionally, the cursor type should reflect the appropriate action, such as showing the move cursor when hovering over the annotation. This update improves usability and enhances interaction with annotations.
