An exception occurs when rendering the Toast and DropdownList in the MAUI app on an iOS device

  • When using a Toast or Dropdown List in a .NET MAUI Hybrid app running on iOS in Release mode, opening the application causes an exception. The exception only occurs on real-time devices and not with emulators or Mac OS.
  • Only rendering the sfToast tag also causes an exception.

Replication procedure:

  • Run the sample with Real time iOS device.
  • Open the app and navigate to DropdownList or Simple toast app.


Expected Output: Exception should not occur when rendering the Toast or DropdownList.

Current Output: Exception occurs when rendering the Toast or Dropdown List.
