Support for item selection on mouse down

The request is to enable item selection in a DataGrid when the mouse button is pressed down (MouseDown), rather than waiting for the button to be released (MouseUp). This would make the selection process more immediate and responsive, as the item would be selected as soon as the user clicks on it, rather than after they release the mouse button.
