Difference in field formatting between DocIO and MS Word

When the FirstCap formatting option is used in a Word Mergefield, DocIO gives another result then MS Word.

In MS Word only the first character is changed to Upper Case. The rest of the characters are untouched.

In DocIO the first character is changed to Upper Case and the rest of the characters are changed to lower case.

For example:

Source text: "von der Leyen"

DocIO field result with 

FirstCap formatting option: "Von der leyen"

MS Word field result with 
 FirstCap formatting option: "Von der Leyen"

Is it possible to change the behaviour in DocIO so it will be the same as in MS Word?
