"PasteGridCellContent" event stopped working when "AllowEditing" is False from version 25.2.4

From version 25.2.4 and so on the "PasteGridCellContent" event stopped been fired from SfDataGrid when AllowEditing is "False". Our system must allow copy and paste cell to cell but must not allow cell edition itself. Before version 25.2.4 the event works correctly as illustrated by the attached example project.
