The problem occurs when the selected date and time is either 12:00 AM or 12:00 PM. In the first case, when the date is 23/05/2024 12:00 AM and we change the minutes to 70, the date changes to 23/05/2024 1:10 PM instead of 23/05/2024 1:10 AM. In the second case, when the date is 23/05/2024 12:00 PM and change the minutes to 70, the date changes to 24/05/2024 1:10 AM.

Sample: https://stackblitz.com/edit/angular-lqbzxo?file=src%2Fmain.ts

Replication steps:

  1. Run the sample.
  2. Select any date and time as 12:00 AM.
  3. Manually edit the minutes column to 70 (12:70) and focus out of the component.
  4. Observe the issue where the value is shown as 1:10 PM instead of 1:10 AM. Similarly, if 12:00 PM is changed to 12:70 PM, it changes to 1:10 AM.

Expected Behavior: The display time should update correctly when manually editing the time.

Actual Behavior: When manually editing the minutes to “70”, an incorrect session is displayed.
