I have this code to catch the unload event:

tabItemExt
.Unloaded += (sender, args) =>

 {

        // do stuff when the tab is unloaded (i.e. on tab closed)

 };

The unloaded event is firing when I move (drag/drop) the tabitem around in the tab control header.

I guess "technically" the tabitemex is being unloaded from its original position and reloaded in its new position but in practice, nothing is really changing other than the tab position. Not sure if this is a bug or by design however there does not appear to be an ondispose event so I don't know how to catch the control being closed/disposed.
