Data Annotations validation ignored

If I have understood well the doc: "GridValidation.InEdit - display error icon & tips and also doesn’t allows the users to commit the invalid data without allowing users to edit other cells", the row can't commit until all the cells in the row was validated, right?

I can see the error icon and the data annotation's error message, but the row was commited.
