Xamarin Forms Kanban Board Crashes on iOS if description is updated

I'm working on a program that timestamps the Kanban card whenever the user moves over the card to the next phase.  To do this, I update the Description field in the Kanban Model to add a newline and the datetime in string format (On the Kanban.DragEnd event).


This works on UWP and Android, however iOS throws a System.NullReferenceException.  If I take out the part where the Date is appended to the description, everything works, so I think the issue could be in the Renderer for the Kanban board when it updates.  When debugging, the appended string and the description are never null.
