Greetings,
While testing with a screen reader (NVDA with Firefox browser), I noticed that the datepicker button in the Scheduler toolbar opens a popup calendar to choose the date for the current view period. I have copied a screenshot of the button I am talking about below. I think it would be useful for this button to indicate to screen readers that it opens a popup. This can be accomplished with the aria-haspopup attribute on the button.
The popup container that opens would then have a role attribute applied that matches the aria-haspopup attribute value of the button.
I think adding this information would help with passing the WCAG criterion 4.1.2 and also because the popup behavior is indicated visually via the downward facing arrow icon.
If you have questions or require further information, please let me know. Thank you!
Ken Watson
