Resolve the table splitting issue in the merge cell


Why this issue is not noticed in earlier testing?

We don't have test case document for this scenario.

 

What is the action to avoid these types of issues in future?

We will add this type of document in pagination test case.

 

Replication steps:

 

  1. Open the attached document
  2. Compare with Ms Word

 

Root cause:

We haven't inserted empty cells into the new split row based on the column span count of the previous split row.
