Patch request is incorrect while using Expand query in DataGrid

Patch request generated is incorrect while using Expand query in DataGrid. In the below image while editing summary column an additional request is generated for vechicleMake column.

Replication:
Run the attached sample.
Edit the summary column.
Check the request in network tab.
We could the empty request is generated for complex column table (vechiclemake : {Summary}})
