Bpmn text annotation doesn't work in diagrams

Here is an example containing the BPMN text annotation element in the symbol palette. It can be added to the diagram, but when double-clicked to give a label, it crashes. Also resizing text elements is not possible because the resize handles are grey.

For comparison, the example also contains the data object element which appears to work normally (as all other

BPMN 

shapes).
