Application hangs while opening a presentation document contains fld element with no child elements

Why application get hangs for this specific document?

In the document, field tag '<fld>' within the paragraph comes without child elements.

Why this is a specific case/issue in our PowerPoint library:

The '<fld>' tag will always have the child elements when created with Microsoft PowerPoint. Even when we re-save this customer reported document with Microsoft PowerPoint document, the <fld> tag is added with some child elements.

So when we try to parse these field elements, the method gets looping due to the missing of child elements.
