Issue with DatePicker Control - Selection Behavior

In the DatePicker component, when you open the calendar by pressing "ALT+arrow down" and subsequently press the "Enter" key to select the current date, the previously selected value is cleared if you try to perform the same action a second time - without changing the date.

Replication Procedure:

  1. Run the sample .
  2. Press Alt+ Down arrow (To open the popup ) and press the enter key (To select the date).
  3. Perform the same action a second time. (Without changing the date)
  4. See the issue , (the previously selected value is cleared )

Expected:  The previously selected value it should not be cleared.

Current : The previously selected value is cleared .
