Selection Problem in Mention Integration - Blazor RichTextEditor

In RTE Mentions, when entering the text and selecting it with the Tab key, the old text is also transferred. For example, I wrote @fabi, and from the suggestion list, I chose Fabian by pressing the Tab key. Then, Fabian is correctly tagged, but the old text (fabi) is also retained. 

The issue only occurs when there is already text in the RTE. For example, here: Hello. This problem also occurs in your demo.
