Blazor - Gantt - Add Group Mode for Tasks

Has consideration been given to enabling tasks to be grouped by metadata columns, rather than just the parent / child relationships that are currently possible?

I am developing an application that enables analysis of schedule information from multiple different sources.  Some of those sources (eg. MS Project) uses a parent / child hierarchy, but others use a flat list of tasks designed to be grouped in many ways based upon codes (eg. Primavera P6.)

It would be good if I could choose a group by mode where I can just feed a flat list of tasks and then have the parent / child relationships developed based upon Group By Columns in a similar fashion to what is currently possible with the Data Grid.
