"Object does not match target type exception" occurred when binding the data which has overridden property

"Object does not match target type exception" is occurred when binding the collection which has overridden property from base class. For example, refer the below code example,


Class A

{

      public virtual int Number { get;set;}

}

Class B :  A

{

    public override int Number { get;set; }

}

Class C : A

{

}



In ViewModel Collection same like as below,


ObservableCollection<A> collection = new ObservableCollection<A>();

collection.Add(new B() { Number  = 10 });
