Console error occurs when opening the dropdown in mobile mode

Description :

Console error occurs when opening the dropdown in mobile mode, when enabling checkbox mode in the remote data.

Replication procedure:

  1. Run the sample.
  2. Inspect and switch to mobile view.
  3. Now open the dropdown.

Current behaviour:

Exception throws from mention.js

Expected Behaviour:

Exception should not occur.
