SfGrid - Selection timeout

We want to request this feature of having a optional delay for selection in the grid. Just like the filtering:




We have many master-detail grids and we need to fetch data for the detail-grid based on selection from the master, like this:




But we want the user to navigate using keyboard and not have to block the selection between, so for now we have done this, which does not seem like the optimal solution:



So we want to have an optional delay that says "dispatch" this event after x-milliseconds, or other suggestions?
