Thanks for joining our community and helping improve Syncfusion products!
I have a page with an SfGrid, with several columns set with ClipMode="ClipMode.EllipsisWithTooltip". When the grid is displayed on Windows browsers, or with Chrome on Mac, on the normal Syncfusion tooltip is displayed when the mouse hovers over a cell with truncated text. On Safari on Mac (and perhaps iOS/iPadOS), the Syncfusion tooltip appears. In a second or two, a second tooltip, following the Safari color scheme (defaulting to black on metal gray) appears, as shown in the attachment.
We have other pages with SfGrids, that do not have ClipMode set. In this case, Safari on Mac is truncating the text with ellipsis, and only the second type of tooltip appears.
In theory, I could detect that the Blazor app is running in Safari, and change the ClipMode accordingly. Is there a better solution for this scenario, or is this a bug that is slated to be fixed.
Update: Apparently the second tooltip is a "feature" of Safari. This creates an issue for users - why are there two tooltips for the same field?
