For filter on DateTime fields allow to provide the initial selected date and preserve previous state when edit

We have datetime columns with a wide variety of dates.


Currently when the filter is being opened we see two issues.
    
  1. There is no option to provide initial date so that the calendar can be opened always with today date instead some much more older data.
  2. If data is chosen and applied to the filter, the table will reflect the change but coming back to the filter in order to edit it again, the filter will appear empty and it will not be clear what the previous data was.
    This point is relevant for all advanced filters, not only dates
