Custom words in Text box shown as error when they are in custom dictionary

In the program that is being worked on there is an issue where even though the custom words we want are in the custom dictionary they are still underlined with a red squiggly line under them in the text box which gives the impression that the word is spelt wrong. However if you were to bring up the suggestion context menu for the word it would give you the word from the custom dictionary, also the dialog menu does not have this issue simply the attached context menu to the textbox. I have been looking for a way around this if its at all possible.
