Accessibility issues in multiselect checkboxes

Issue Description:

 Case 1 :

Open the Multiselect dropdown. Click down arrow, the focus moves to Australia, skipping "Select All." "Select All" is not accessible via keyboard.

Replication Procedure: 

  • Run the sample.
  • Open the Multiselect dropdown.
  • Click down arrow, "Select All" is not accessible via keyboard.

Current Behavior :  "Select All" is not accessible via keyboard.


Expected Behavior : "Select All" should be accessible via keyboard.


Case 2 :

When the user presses the space bar to select an item, the focus is reset to the search bar and the user has to use the arrow keys to navigate back to their previous position.

Replication Procedure: 

  • Run the sample.
  • Open the Multiselect dropdown.
  • Press the space bar to select an item, the focus is reset to the search bar.

Current Behavior :  The focus is reset to the search bar.

 

Expected Behavior : The focus should be on going to the next item in the list, not on going back up to the search bar.
