unable to access the outside variables and method status in the template

We encountered an issue where we were unable to access the outside variables and method status in the template. Please find the sample below.

 

Replication procedure:

 

  1. Run the uploader sample
  2. upload a file
  3. You can see the issue


Current behaviour: status is not updated.

Expected behaviour: status should updated properly based on the state changes
