Listview does not autosize correctly

When I use a listview to show a list of button horizontally, it not only does not autosize correctly, but it goes beyond the bounds of its parent's sizing constraints.  I can tell by setting its background when in a stacklayout that is horizontal.  I have 2 buttons and I want it to size to the 2 buttons and then center correctly.  It basically just sits on top of other controls.
