Emptying DatePicker value doesn't call any callbacks in strict mode

Issue can be seen in this demo: https://stackblitz.com/edit/ah4zlp

Empty the date picker value by selecting the entire date text in the textbox, press backspace and move cursor away from the textbox. None of the callbacks is called, and thus it's impossible to react when user empties the value.

The value can also be emptied using the X button, where the callbacks do work.

Assumingly, there is the same issue in the DateTimePicker component.
