When you type the mention character, the API call is not functioning correctly

When you type an "@" character, the API call is related to "@", but it is also called for the "#" character API.


Replication Procedure: 

  • Run the sample
  • Enter an "@" character.
  • Open the Network Tab
  • Now you can see two API calls for a single character.

Current Behavior : When you type the character, the API calls for each character are triggered.



Expected Behavior : 

When you type the character, the API calls related to entering the character are triggered.
