Option to align axis labels next to the tick lines

I'm using DateTimeAxis with 1 day interval. (Actually I have 2 DateTimeAxes in sync, one to display day labels, other to display hours.)

Ideally, I would like to place axis labels right next to the tick line as in this other chart: alignment.png


When I'm customizing the labelAlignment of DateTimeAxis and trying all possible values (from top to bottom: start/center/end), the placement of start and end doesn't really look the same for all the axis labels.
