Exception thrown while changing the format of the cell by Format Cells Window

While changing the format of the Cell in Spreadsheet, "NULL" exception is thrown especially when changing the format by Format Cells Window in Spreadsheet which doesn't have Ribbon UI. In actual case, it needs to be formatted properly.
