Performance issue with large number of records

Out customer needs to be able to have large number of rows rendered (around 10-15k) and we're experiencing some major performance problems (up to 20 seconds delay) during the initial render. 

To make matters worse, we're using the chart in conjunction with Microsoft PowerBi which triggers rerenders quite often (for instance on window resize inside PowerBi) which makes it almost unusable.

We have added virtualization but it did very little to improve the performace

Same problem occurs on ExpandAll/CollapseAll 

Is there anything you can suggest we can do on our end to improve the performance?
