Checkbox Mode fails perhaps when hidden

Trying to use MultiSelectComponent in CheckBox mode. 

The component is part of a wizard and so the component is not rendered immediately which I suspect is part of the issue.

I've tried delayUpdate={true} which I've used on other components to prevent the logic from running until the component is rendered.

Attached is a screenshot of the code and the chrome debugger where the error is happening.


Doesn't seem like I can attach multiple files so just attaching the chrome debugger.
