TreeView dataSource not updated after modification

I create a treeView with empty data.

In the constructor I load the data from the backend but the treeWiew doesn't show the data loaded.

When I add "debugger" before "this.treeObj.fields.dataSource = this.data;" the data is updated but if I remove debugger the treeView stay empty.

I tried adding a button to update the data but it didn't work.

I removed the transformation of the data in the photo attached but I'm sure  it's correct since it works when I add the debugger before adding the data to the tree.
