Persistence not working when using stacked header

In my Blazor Server app, I am using a SfGrid component, with AllowFiltering="true" and EnablePersistence="true". I am also utilizing stacked headers, as described here. When I apply a filter to any of the columns and navigate away from the page, upon revisit of the page there is no data displayed. When I remove the stacked headers, the data displays as expected.
