Limit Height of control

When MultiSelectDropdown has small width and VisualMode is Box, height of control is doubled in order to allow space for typing in values.

Is it possible to limit height of the control (not popup!), and/or limit the number of lines of value, and/or disable typing so that no extra space is reserved for text entry?
