Printing inside iframe comes up empty

I am using ej2 pdf viewer to show user a pdf inside of an iframe and using the print module to print said pdf. When using the website normally the behaviour is as expected and the print button generates the expected output. When running the website inside of an iframe the print button generates a completly blank file even tho the pdf shows correctly in the pdf viewer.

I am using ej2 version 19.4.52.

PS:This behaviour works as expected in firefox but not chrome or edge
